Just got a preview of yesterday's set. This was the last set, so u can see the messy and sticky hair and shag faces. Hahah!

Tired alrdy, so we just sat on the shophouse steps. Yang told us to just whisper smth funny into each others ears. So this was the story behind the shot. Haha! My mind went blank, i just told the man, 1,2,3, ha ha ha ha! LOL.

Choosing of table cloth, napkins and door gift. Such limited choices, the rest are too showy. Thank god for the wedding decor boss, his rly magic!

I swear the burlap on the napkin made such a huge difference to blend everything together!

Cake tasting!



Thank heaven for letting me meet such a nice vendor. (: we just wanted t meetup for a discussion but she baked to let us try, so sweet of her. Sigh. 

And she suggested cute cakes for our guests, not sheet cakes. OMG! So niceeeeeeeee.

I am so happy that we are serving pretty cakes to all the guests (mini version of our wedding cake) & still have a BIG wedding cake as a photo backdrop (center of the aisle), to cut and to serve for the VIP table. Heheheh!

Change in Wedding Vendors

Every bride to be should have been through at least 1 change. But I think mine took the cake for it. I have experienced a change in:

1. Hotel Coordinator

2. Decor Coordinator

3. Wedding Gown Designer

4. Invitation Card Coordinator

Thats almost every aspect already. Dont panic, just breathe ok! A change might be for the better. Hahahha! But please remember to go through the details once again with the new person ya!

wedding band, the guy version

its quite funny and amazing how we went back to eclarity again as cynthia's proposal ring was from there.  we starting ring shopping at many places and visited cartier where the trinity band topped the charts but sadly have to give it a miss.  couldnt bear to spend that amount but it was soooooooooooooooooooooooo nice.  totally liked it.

but anyhow decided to visit eclarity and see what they have to offer since customization was their business.  we took probably about an hour looking through the different designs and finally managed to narrow down our selection.  both of us are just too picky and have the love for details so we decided to have our own likes into the rings. a part mine, a part hers making it ours.




4 different ring designs here where on the left, the three rings are interconnected, adding our likes and diamonds onto the rings.  so after about couple of months, the design came out as shown in the earlier posts by cynthia.  went through some discussion with eclarity and WOOOOOHOOOOO.  many shared that guys should have thicker bands but nah, still prefer smaller band ring for myself.  not a fan of those chunky chunky kind.





tried the rings and its nice right.  like it so much but sadly we did not bring the rings back with us as there were still some minor changes that needs to be done to the rings.  what to do, sometimes i think we are quite hard to service or rather would want things our way.  few more weeks before we get to collect the final product and to keep it safe for few months before we really get to wear them.  looking back, time has pass quite quickly from preparing the engagement ring, the proposal, wedding plans like venue and such till wedding band.  very soon, the big day would arrive!

Planning a wedding is really not easy. Why do i have so many wedding related posts.

Anyhow, i am stuck for the invitations. There is 3 sides complimentary, refusing to topup here, other than the letterpress part.

So the sides should usually include:
1. English Banquet 
2. Chinese Banquet
3. Solemnization
4. Map
5. Menu
6. RSVP

How can i squeeze it into the 3 complimentary sides? Should i print my own map? Should i combine some of them?

#cynjon engagement ring

So the engagement ring was a hot topic after we got our house, we bickered, we made up, we quarreled again, we made up, i guessed his intentions, he guessed my intentions, i told him what i want, he try to place together what i want. Hahah! I was waiting not-so-patiently for the ring after we bought the house in Dec 2012. And i finally saw it on July 2014, what a long wait, right girls? Hahha! But its all worth it! I have never wanted a solitaire or white diamond, from the very beginning, because its just too common, I was absolutely smitten by the yellow diamond, I reckon Tiffany's marketing worked! Hahah!

Me being the one constantly obsessed with details, I want the ring to be how I like it to be. So my criteria is:

1. Double Halo, White Diamond
2. Cushion Cut, Yellow Diamond
3. Single Shank, White Diamond
4. The yellow diamond must sit nicely, no gaps
5. Side designs should be nice

I was head over heels with only 1 and only 1 ring, it is the Tiffany Soleste Ring. 2 things I do not like about the Soleste, is the split shank and the side profile.

 The split shank is not very obvious, but i prefer if it is 1 shank.

The side profile, I cant stand the gap and space. I really dont understand. Hahha! I like mine sitting nicely.

So I went to look for more interesting side profiles, of course there is tons of them like Tacori/ Verragio!

but it seems too much... 

and I chance upon the Tiffany Legacy collection, very elegant side, and NO GAPS/SPACE!

So after telling the man all the details above and went through the arduous wait of 1 year 7 months, I finally saw it! Hahhahaha! Throughout the entire period, i sent him tons of reference pics and ask him if this is nice or that is nice, what do you think? Sometimes i change my mind to white diamond/single halo/pear shape, to test if he bought the ring already, hahaha! But he didnt relent, he basically just ignored me, thats when we start bickering, ya i know, what a bitch testing him and all. Hahaha! But i cant help it, the wait was too long.

Do I love my ring? HELLL friggin YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cant stop looking at it, its so shiny and pretty. Mad gorg!!!!! Thank you a million times for giving me this engagement ring! Everything is on point! Hahahah. I was tearing in the picture above and proceeded to sob and cry and bawl my hearts out. -proposal story for another day-

I remember my first reaction after the ring is on my finger is to see the side profile. Hahha! Thats how important it is to me, its a pass or fail criteria. 

The yellow is not obvious on most pictures sadly, especially taken from far, guess its because its a fancy light yellow.

Oh yes, its a yellow diamond everyone, not sapphire or gemstone. Someone commented quietly that it looks so big must be a gemstone, they can never afford a diamond this size, my chopsticks almost flew, just kidding, hahah, my stares flew freely during the whole time though. It is not even priced like its out of this world! People..................................................
